GOLD HELICOPTER SERVICES Ltd (GHSL) was born in the 1990 in Accra and Takoradi. It has developed with Ghana’s economic growth and diversification. A truly Ghanaian company, it is part of the same Group as International Aircraft Services (IAS) based in Ivory Coast.
GHSL owns its local air operator certificate since 2026. It is registered with the Petroleum Commission and has a longstanding history of offshore flights. It is currently the main onshore helicopter services provider for security, mining, and insurance companies, as well as private Clients. GHSL transports people and precious metals both in regular circumstances and in emergency situations including medical evacuations.
GHSL offers a large array of private transportation services by helicopter in response to a diversified demand:
- Light cargo and people transport OFFSHORE
- Light cargo and people transport ONSHORE
- Emergency evacuations
- Medical evacuations
